Gary has never offered a training course or coaching in the decade he has been running his successful travel blog. This is the first time he has formally offered to train other bloggers.
Gary will work with no more than 4 people at any one time, and not everyone will be accepted. This offer will also not be available indefinitely.
This is not a paint by numbers course. The goal for each student will be to have a customized plan of action to achiever each blogger's goals, customized to the niche which they are in. You will work directly with Gary via Skype, and in person (if possible).
He has appeared on many of the largest media outlets in the world, and has worked with many major brands and destinations around the globe.
He is also the most awarded online travel journalists in the world, having won 34 NATJA Awards, 3 Lowell Thomas Awards, 2 Northern Lights Awards, and a SMITTY Award for Excellent in Social Media.
He has also been named North American Travel Photographer of the Year by both the Society of American Travel Writers and the North American Travel Journalists Association.
Gary has been the single biggest mentor for me for the past eight years, as I have grown my two travel blogs from zero to thousands of readers a day. I joke that Rule #1 is: "Gary is Always Right," but it's not a joke at all, because it's actually true! Gary has a unique ability to cut through the BS and give clear-eyed, actionable advice. His insights and honesty are really refreshing. Gary has helped me grow my blog readership, take better photos, hunt down overlooked travel destinations, and strategize my business and monetization plan. In addition to all that, I truly enjoy every conversation we have!
Gary was and is extremely elemental in the growth of my business and building my authority in the scuba diving niche. We sat down and I told him my goals, and we hashed out a great game plan and strategy to get there. Without this sort of guidance from Gary to keep me on track and going the right direction, I would be years behind of what I am now. The best thing I ever did was get a great mentor in Gary, and learn what he had to show.
I've been working with Gary for a short time and every piece of advice he's thrown my way has proven to be effective and thoughtful while being pure gold in terms of honest critique and advice. He's the most valuable type of mentor, one that teaches you better methods of reaching your goals while challenging you to do better.
